James O’hara MD

Mr O’Hara is a consultant otolaryngologist – head and neck surgeon at the Freeman Hospital, Newcastle-upon-Tyne. He chairs the Newcastle Head and Neck MDT and ENT Clinical Academic Directorate. His particular clinical interests lie with transoral surgery for oropharyngeal and laryngeal cancer, with an interest in swallowing outcomes following these. He has experience with transoral laser microsurgery which has translated into transoral robotic surgery recently.
