Dr. Moon is currently professor of Cardiology at UCL IRIS - University College London. He Has received MD, MRCP, MB BCh, BA degrees from University of London, Royal College Of Physicians, University Of Oxford, University Of Cambridge. His main interest is in measuring and defining normal and abnormal myocardium using advanced cardiac imaging (MRI, CT, echo) and working with basic science (genetics/proteomics) and with drug developers aiming for better patient care and better patient outcomes. Particular disease of interest are: infiltration (amyloid, fabrys), cardiomyopathy (inherited and acquired), diffuse fibrosis , valvular heart disease, health (normal, athletes, veteran athletes, post training).
