James L. Thomas DPM, FACFAS

Dr. James L. Thomas, DPM is a Professor and Chief of the Foot and Ankle Surgical Division at the Joan C Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University. He earned his podiatric degree from the California College of Podiatric Medicine before graduating his residency in foot and ankle surgery at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center. Dr. Thomas focuses his practice on traumatic and non-traumatic disorders of the foot and ankle for both adult and pediatric patients including ankle replacement surgery for adults. He is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and began practicing with Marshall Orthopaedics in 2016. Dr. Thomas is also proud to have served in the United States Air Force for 3 years.
