James Kevin Hicks is a personalized medicine specialist in the DeBartolo Family Personalized Medicine Institute at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute. He is an attending on the personalized medicine clinical service and is leading efforts to leverage the electronic health record to integrate pharmacogenomics into routine patient care. Before joining Moffitt, he was the director of Cleveland Clinic’s personalized medication program. He earned his Pharm.D. and PhD degrees from the University of Michigan. He completed a pediatric residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital and a clinical pharmacogenomics fellowship at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
