James Kellam MD

Dr. James Kellam is a Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth).Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, Dr. Kellam specializes in Orthopedic Trauma with an emphasis on the management of acute traumatic injuries and fractures and dislocations of the pelvis and lower extremity.

Dr. Kellam received his undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto in Toronto, Canada. He attended medical school at the University of Toronto. Following an Orthopedic Surgery residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Toronto, Canada, Dr. Kellam went on to complete a fellowship in Orthopedic Trauma at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington.

Dr. Kellam is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Association for Surgery of Trauma, and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
