James (jim) G. Caridi MD, FSIR

Jim Caridi MD FSIR, Professor of Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Tulane University Medical School. Previously Chief of Interventional Radiology at the University of Florida where he studied and worked with I F Hawkins MD the “Father” of Carbon Dioxide angiography. With Dr. Hawkins the 2 collaborated on multiple studies and peer reviewed articles for the advancement of carbon dioxide as an imaging agent. Dr. Caridi is dedicated to both the proliferation of CO2 as an imaging agent to assist in diagnosis and treatment of various maladies as well as the elimination or at least the reduction of the incidence of contrast induced nephropathy.
