James Feldman MD MPH

Dr. Feldman is Director of Research for the Department of Emergency Medicine at BMC as well as Professor of Emergency Medicine at BU. He serves as Chair of the Institutional Review Board (Panel Blue, Boston University Medical Center.) He presently serves on the MACEP Board of Directors and is Chair of the Committee on the Quality of Medical Practice of the Massachusetts Medical Society. He also is a member of the SAEM Research Directors Interest Group. His research interests include technologies to improve the triage of suspected acute coronary syndromes, evaluation and treatment of cocaine-induced chest pain, emergency management of asthma, and new diagnostic technologies in the ED. Dr. Feldman serves as an ad hoc reviewer for the New England Journal of Medicine, the Annals of Emergency Medicine, the Journal of Emergency Medicine, and numerous other journals. Dr. Feldman is board certified in Emergency and Internal Medicine.
