Dr. Gallagher is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Cardiology Division. He received his medical degree from the George Washington School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Utah and his cardiology fellowship at The University of Rochester Medical Center. He joined the faculty of URMC in 2015.

Dr. Gallagher is a member of the electrophysiology section. Dr. Gallagher is an expert in the management of pacemakers, defibrillators, and resynchronization devices. He specializes in the treatment of patients with atrial fibrillation, especially ablation for atrial fibrillation. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
