Dr Badlani completed his Dental Degree (BDSc) at the University of Western Australia and his Medical Degree (MBBS) at the University of Adelaide. He completed his surgical specialist training and attained his Fellowship in Oral and maxillofacial Surgery in 2013 (South Australia & Northern Territory). Dr Badlani subsequently completed three Head and Neck Fellowships and became the first Australian Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to complete the prestigious Sydney Head and Neck Institute Fellowship at the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse under Professor Jonathan Clark, sub-specialising in Head and Neck Ablative Surgery and Microvascular Reconstruction. He also completed Fellowships at The Royal Darwin Hospital and Gold Coast University Hospital.
Dr Badlani practices the full scope of Oral and maxillofacial Surgery as well as Head and neck Surgery. His specialty areas of interest include dentoalveolar surgery, orthognathic surgery, dental implantology, head and neck oncology, salivary gland pathology, advanced skin cancers, and microvascular reconstruction. He is active in research and has published in the areas of advanced skin cancers, salivary gland tumors, obstructive sleep apnoea, and facial trauma.

He utilizes computer-guided 3D planning and printing technology in complex implant cases, complex jaw corrective surgery, and facial reconstructive surgery to provide superior aesthetic and functional results.
