James A. Ward OD

Dr. Ward graduated from Northeastern State University College of Optometry in 1993. Upon graduation, he joined The Eldridge Eye Clinic, in Okmulgee as a partner. In 1999 Dr. Ward and Hall purchased Eldridge Eye Clinic and it was renamed The Eye Center, Okmulgee in 2001.
Dr. Ward specializes in ocular disease with a wide range of technical training and experience. He is certified in and routinely performs anterior segment laser procedures, YAG laser procedures, glaucoma-related laser treatments, and minor in-office surgical procedures. In addition to his 23 years of clinical experience, Dr. Ward is certified as a Contact Lens Expert by Bausch & Lomb. He is an experienced lecturer on subjects such as contact lens fitting and management, as well as ocular disease, glaucoma, diabetes, and dry eye management.
