James A. Sliwa DO

Dr Sliwa is a Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation whose clinical focus has been the medically complex inpatient and low back pain. At the Shirley Ryan AbillityLab (formerly Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago), he has been the Residency Director for 30 years and the Chief Medical Officer for 10 years. He oversees Quality and Safety throughout the system of care. He is a Director of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
