Jakob Seidelin MD, PhD, DMSc

Jakob Benedict Seidelin was born in 1969 and is a consultant gastroenterologist and hepatologist. He graduated from the Medical School at the University of Copenhagen in 1997 and has had his clinical education at the university hospitals in Copenhagen. Jakob Seidelin is the leader of the Clinical Research Unit at the Outpatient Clinic at Herlev University Hospital in Copenhagen, where he is a Consultant Gastroenterologist. Jakob Seidelin is a skilled endoscopist. He obtained his Ph.D. in 2004 and D.M.Sc. in 2015 and is a Professor at the Medical School at the University of Copenhagen. He has been continuously engaged in basic and clinical research focused on IBD and has worked as a visiting scientist at M.I.T. in Cambridge, MA, USA in 2015.
