Jakob R. Passweg MS

Jakob Passweg is chair of hematology at the Basel University Hospital. He is particularly interested in studying the outcome of patients receiving hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and in improving results of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation through immune intervention such as adoptive transfer of immune reactive cells. He has served in the past on the board of the European Group of Blood and Marrow Transplantation is Co-Editor of the journal BMT and is currently President of the Swiss Cancer League.
