Jaime Ortiz MD

Dr. Jaime Ortiz practices Anesthesiology at Ben Taub General Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine. He serves as Director of Regional Anesthesia and as Co-Director of the Acute Pain Management Service. He enjoys teaching residents and students in the perioperative setting.

Dr. Ortiz has taught at regional anesthesia workshops at local, national and international meetings. He is a member of the Texas Society of Anesthesiologists’ Editorial Committee. He is also a member of the American Society of Regional Anesthesia's Website and Social Media Committee. He also serves on the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Anesthetics and Anesthesiology, and serves as an Ad Hoc Reviewer for several national and international journals.
