Jaime Aparecido Cury DDS

Dr. Jaime Aparecido Cury is a Professor of Dentistry at UNICAMP State University of Campinas. He is graduated in Dentistry from the State University of Campinas (1971), Master in Science (Biochemistry) from the Federal University of Parana (1974), Ph.D. in Biological Sciences (Biochemistry) from the University of Sao Paulo (1980), and post-doctorate from the University of Rochester, USA (1995 and 2005).

He is currently a full professor of biochemistry at the Faculty of Dentistry of Piracicaba, UNICAMP. Has experience in Dentistry, focusing on Cariology, acting on the following subjects: fluor, dental biofilm. He has received several awards in his career, notably the "The 2010 Yngve Ericsson Prize for Research in Preventive Odontology", for having been, in 2011, the first Latin American researcher awarded by the Latin American Regional of the IADR (International Association for Dental Research) for the Invaluable contribution to research, dissemination, and training of human resources.
