Jafar Golzarian MD, FSIR

Jafar Golzarian, MD, is a radiologist who cares for patients in need of interventional radiology and imaging services. Dr. Golzarian sees his patients at the University of Minnesota Health Clinics and Surgery Center. His clinical interests include diagnostic radiology, GI diseases/cancers, imaging sensitivity and specificity, and interventional treatment of peripheral artery disease. Dr. Golzarian is also academically interested in research and has co-authored over 70 publications. In addition, he is a Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Minnesota Medical School. He graduate from the University of Brussels School of Medicine, then complete his residency in Radiology followed by an Interventional Radiology Fellowship at Erasme Hospital, University of Brussels School of Medicine in 1994.
