Jae-won Lee MD

Dr. Jae-Won Lee, a professor in the Dept. of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, was appointed as an active member of the American Association for Thoracic Surgery (AATS) on May 4 at their 93rd Annual Meeting. Prof. Lee Jae-won of the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery transferred “robot-assisted coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) techniques” in Japan on June 7, as he was invited by Prof. Shioshi Akira at the Kyushu University Hospital. This was the first robot-assisted CABG performed in the Kyushu University Hospital, and Prof. Lee participated in the surgery as a supervisor.
