Jae H. Park MD

Dr. Jae H. Park, MD, is a hematologist–oncologist and leukemia specialist at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre (MSKCC) in New York, where he serves as Chief of the Cellular Therapy Service. He specialises in the treatment of blood cancers, particularly leukemia, and is widely recognised for his work in cellular therapy and immunotherapy, including CAR T-cell therapy.

Dr. Park focuses on caring for patients with hematologic malignancies such as acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), acute myeloid leukemia (AML), chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), and other blood and bone marrow disorders. His clinical and research work aims to develop more effective and personalised treatments for these conditions.

As a translational researcher, Dr. Park works at the intersection of laboratory science and clinical medicine, helping move new discoveries from the lab into treatments for patients. He has led and co-led multiple clinical trials investigating innovative therapies, including genetically engineered T-cell therapies designed to target leukemia cells more precisely and potentially provide long-lasting remission.

Dr. Park received his MD from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency at Massachusetts General Hospital. He later pursued a hematology/oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, where he continued his clinical and research career.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Park is an active investigator and has authored or co-authored numerous scientific publications in leading journals such as The New England Journal of Medicine, Blood, and Journal of Clinical Oncology. His research is supported by several major organisations and focuses on advancing targeted and immune-based therapies for hematologic cancers.
