Jacques J. Morcos MD, FRCS, FAANS
Jacques Morcos was born on December 16, 1960 and now is a Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Miami. He also holds a joint appointment in the Department of Otolaryngology.
His area of expertise is in cerebrovascular surgery and skull base surgery. He obtained his medical degree from the American University in Beirut, Lebanon in 1985 and then spent four years in England, including serving as Registrar at the National Hospital for Neurological Diseases at Queen Square and Maida Vale in London. From 1990 to 1994, he completed neurosurgical residency at the University of Minnesota and then took a six month Fellowship in Cerebrovascular Surgery at the University of Florida under Art Day.
