Jacquelyn Borst, MSPAS, PA-C works as a physician assistant in Urgent Care and occasionally moonlights as an internal medicine hospitalist with Geisinger Health System in central Pennsylvania. She previously worked in adult gastroenterology for five years managing general GI conditions with a focus in chronic hepatitis C and gastroparesis.
Jacquelyn completed her graduate degree in Physician Assistant Studies at DeSales University and holds undergraduate degrees in biology and chemistry. She also has a background in pharmaceutical research and development. Because of her interest in PA education, she precepts students for Lock Haven University and lectures for various organizations.
Jacquelyn is also the Executive Director of International Impact through Medicine Foundation, a non-profit organization that specializes in medical missions. She has taken multiple medical missions trips to Haiti and Honduras.
