Dr. Jackie Kitulu is a Kenyan. She graduated from The University Of Nairobi. She is a general practitioner and she worked at the Nairobi Hospital Accident and Emergency Unit before going into private practice. She has a special interest in emergency training and is a Resuscitation Council of the UK (RCUK) certified instructor running courses at The Nairobi Hospital, Gertrudes Garden Children's Hospital and Aga Khan University Hospital. She is also the current chairperson of The Kenya Medical Women's Association. 

Dr. Jacqueline Kitulu is the National chair of the Kenya Medical Association (KMA), the National Umbrella Medical Association. She is the first woman to be the Chairperson of the Association. She also chaired the Kenya Medical Women’s Association (KMWA) between 2008 and 2012. She is a director and represents KMA at the Kenya Healthcare Federation (KHF), the health arm of The Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA). 

She was nominated by the KHF as an alternate member representing Formal Private Sector on the Kenya Coordinating Mechanism (KCM) for Global Fund, a multi sectoral mechanism for public-private partnership in the governance of national disease HIV, TB and malaria. She is Vice Chair of the Non-State Actors in KCM. She also sits on the Finance Committee of the Kenya Red Cross Society and the Safaricom Health Advisory Board. 

Dr Jacqueline Kitulu remains a family physician who has been in practice the last 15 years, the last 10 years being in private practice in Nairobi. She is also a Resuscitation Council of the UK certified trainer of trainers for emergency pediatric life support in Kenya and the UK. In 2014 she completed her second term as member of The National Economic and Social Council where she was a representative of professional associations. She also completed her term as independent director at Resolution Insurance, a medical insurance provider. 

She is the recipient of the Organization of Women in International Trade (OWIT) Woman of the Year 2010 and the Africa Most Outstanding Female Professional Award 2012 from the Centre for Economic and Leadership Development. 

She is currently pursuing a Master in Business Administration- Healthcare Management Program at the Strathmore Business School and with her networking skills and strong belief in public private partnerships she is on her way to being a transformative leader in healthcare in Africa.
