Jackie Kazik graduated in 1985 from UW-Madison as a Physician Assistant. After 30 years of practicing, Jackie has completed her final PANRE exam and hopes to share her experiences with Physician Assistants and students preparing for their PANCE or PANRE. Jackie began her career as a Physician Assistant spending time in both Pediatrics and Obstetrics and Gynecology and Urgent Care. With the experience of multiple years in different fields, she turned her interests towards teaching, serving as faculty at Marquette University.

After finding a passion for teaching, Jackie continued to pursue various roles as an educator, teaching at UW-Madison and then serving adjunct at both Carroll University and Concordia University. Following her established teaching career, Jackie found herself back to full-time practice as an Emergency Room PA, as well as traveling Lecturer and Medical Content Director for CME Resources. Jackie’s unique long-term experience of practicing as a Physician Assistant in multiple fields, vast experience instructing PA students, and history of medical specialization led her to writing about her experiences in the healthcare world, and specifically, her experience in PANCE/PANRE certification preparation for those on the road to becoming a certified Physician Assistant or those hurdling recertification. Jackie continues to practice and teach in the nearby area of her home in Waukesha, Wisconsin. She has her hands full, balancing part-time work and caring for the health of her baby brother, Mikey. When she does find those rare moments of spare time, Jackie enjoys time with family and traveling, particularly to visit her two boys in New Orleans.
