Jacqueline Dunkley-bent OBE

Jacqueline Dunkley-Bent is Head of Maternity Children & Young People for NHS England. She is an experienced midwife, manager, and lecturer who has worked at a local, national and strategic level to develop and improve maternity services. She is Visiting Professor at Kings College London and London South Bank University and has a clinical background in nursing and midwifery, trauma counseling and alternative therapies.

Jacqueline is a national and international speaker, writer and healthcare advisor and continues to work clinically as a midwife. She is currently a member of the Royal Society of Medicine Maternity & Newborn Forum Council, the BMJ editorial board and the Women of the Year management committee.
