Jake, a Pittsburgh native, earned his B.S. in Molecular Biology from Grove City College. He joined the lab in 2014 and studied heme homeostasis in S. aureus. Jake graduated in 2019 and is currently at Emory University as a postdoc in the lab of Dr. David Weiss.
