Graham Williams has worked as a Consultant Colorectal and General Surgeon in Wolverhampton for 15 years and is one of the four-strong team of colorectal surgeons at New Cross Hospital. He qualified in Cardiff and after junior positions in Cardiff and Exeter, spent 2 years at University of Minnesota, USA as a Colorectal Fellow, before returning to the UK as a Lecturer in Surgery in Birmingham. His expertise covers the whole of colorectal surgery, and in particular he has a special interest in anal rectal sepsis, colorectal cancer and inflammatory bowel disease and functional bowel disorders. He is an Executive and Council Member of the Association of Coloproctology.
Since arriving in Wolverhampton, Graham has treated many patients at the Nuffield Health Wolverhampton Hospital. Common procedures performed include hernia repairs, haemorrhoid and fistula operations (including the new stapled haemorrhoid procedure), large bowel resections and colonoscopy.
