J. D. Mccourt MD, FACEP, FAAEM

J.D. McCourt, Jr., MD, FACEP, FAAEM, is Medical Director of the Adult Emergency Department at the University Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. He currently is the Vice-Chair of Clinical Operations for the University of Nevada School of Medicine Department of Emergency Medicine. He earned his medical degree from UHS/The Chicago Medical School and completed his emergency medicine residency at the University of Chicago Hospitals. He is board-certified in Emergency Medicine.

As co-director of the National Emergency Medicine Board Review Course, Dr. McCourt has helped prepare thousands of Emergency Medicine physicians for their certification and recertification exams. He is also an associate professor for the University of Nevada School of Medicine Department of Emergency Medicine, serving as faculty for Nevada's only Emergency Medicine residency. He is also a regular faculty speaker for the American College of Emergency Medicine's Emergency Medicine Directors Academy.
