Ivo A. M. J. Broeders PhD, MD

Dr. Ivo Broeders is a surgeon specializing in minimally invasive surgery. He introduced robotic surgery in the Netherlands in august 2000 and has extensive clinical, research, and market experience in this field. He specializes in complex reflux disease and hiatal hernia, colon cancer, and pelvic floor disorders/prolapse.

Ivo Broeders is a full professor at Twente University, faculty of EWI. He teaches in the bachelor and master programs of Technical medicine and conducts research in minimally invasive surgery and robotics as part of the Robotics and Mechatronics group (RAM).
