Ivana Sestak MSc, PhD

Ivana after gaining her master's degree in Biotechnology in 2001 at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, she joined the Cancer Registry in Zurich as a research assistant gaining experience in cancer epidemiology. She started her Queen Mary career in 2003, first with a PhD in breast cancer chemoprevention at the Wolfson Institute of Preventive Medicine under the supervision of Professor Jack Cuzick.
She Staying in the Institute (2007) her roles as a statistician then senior statistician have focused on data analysis of breast cancer prevention trials. In July 2013 she was promoted to Lecturer in Medical Statistics. She have collaborated with several (international) research groups and presented my work at national and international conferences.
