Ivan Sisa MD, MPH, MS

Ivan Sisa obtained the degrees of Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Public Health (MPH) at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito (USFQ, Ecuador). In addition, he has a Master's degree in Clinical Research and Translational Sciences (MS) from Tufts University (United States). He is a professor and researcher at the USFQ School of Medicine. He was President of the USFQ Human Research Ethics Committee. His full-time dedication is academic medicine, with undergraduate and graduate classes in the areas of Biostatistics and Epidemiology. His areas of research and interest are cardiovascular risk modeling, nutritional epidemiology, medical education, and bibliometric studies. He is the author of more than 30 peer-reviewed scientific publications. In 2023, he had the honor of being accepted as a corresponding academic at the Ecuadorian Academy of Medicine.
