Isobel Macewan PhD

Isobel MacEwan is the chair and a founder member of Talk Lipoedema. Talk Lipoedema is a patient support organisation and supports people with Lipoedema and their families across the UK. Isobel has worked in the food industry for 36 years and runs her own Food Consultancy business in Scotland. She was diagnosed with Lipoedema at the age of 51 having inherited it from her mother, in retrospect, she now realises the first symptoms of Lipoedema showed themselves at puberty. She is passionate about raising awareness of Lipoedema and supporting those who are looking for a diagnosis or who have been diagnosed.
