Isaac obtained his Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Miami in 1995 and joined BMS in 2000 where he has held positions of increasing responsibility. Isaac leads a team of 15 computational scientists in the Translational Medicine division at Bristol Myers-Squibb.
He is a hands-on manager supporting bioinformatics software development for drug discovery through full development programs, focusing on technologies such as next generation sequencing (NGS), proteomics, flow cytometry, and cloud computing, development of a framework for reproducible research and development of visualization tools for genomics data. He is the developer of the JavaScript library, CanvasXpress.
