Vanessa V. Marin Collazo, MD, is a board-certified neurologist specializing in multiple sclerosis (MS) and neuroimmunology. She leads the only multidisciplinary MS clinic in Northeast Florida, bringing together neurology, rehabilitation, sleep medicine, and mental health services to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care. Before pursuing a career in medicine, she worked as a chemist, an experience that strengthened her foundation in science and critical thinking.

In addition to her clinical role, she serves as Director of the Neurology Clerkship at Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine, where she teaches and mentors medical students, supervises neurology residents, and guides a neuroimmunology fellow. She is also a member of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, helping to shape institution-wide medication practices and optimize patient care.

Beyond her clinical and educational responsibilities, she is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences, serves on advisory boards for pharmaceutical companies, and actively volunteers with the National MS Society through fundraising walks, cycling events, and patient support groups. Her professional passions include MS care, neuroimmunology, medical education, and patient advocacy, with a focus on improving outcomes and enhancing quality of life for individuals living with multiple sclerosis.
