Irene W. Y. Ma BSc, MSc, MD, PhD, FRCPC, FACP, RDMS, RDCS

Irene Ma, MD, is a general internist and an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine with a joint appointment in Community Health Sciences at the University of Calgary.
Dr. Ma received her MSc in Clinical Epidemiology from Stanford University, and a PhD in Medical Education from the University of Calgary. Her research interest is on the use of simulation in competency-based education and assessments, with a focus on procedural skills and bedside ultrasonography.
