ra Zaltz, M.D. is a board certified Orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in children's orthopaedic conditions. He also treats acute injuries, children with scoliosis, club feet, neuromuscular conditions and hip dysplasia.
He is a Professor, Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, Alpha Omega Alpha, Dr. Zaltz completed his Orthopaedic residency at Harvard Combined Program in Orthopaedic Surgery.
He also served as chief resident in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital. As part of his sub-specialty training, Dr. Zaltz completed a 1 year fellowship in Pediatric Orthopaedic surgery and scoliosis surgery at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for children.
He is a member of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Pediatric Society of North America. He also has presented and published several articles related to scoliosis, Hip Dysplasia, fracture care and many other orthopaedic conditions.He is on staff at William Beaumont Hospital Royal Oak.
