Dr. Pande is a Consultant Rheumatologist and Honorary Lecturer at the Nottingham University Hospital. She graduated from King George's Medical University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, and then did her higher training in Clinical Immunology & Rheumatology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi (India) where she was subsequently appointed as Assistant Professor. However, she moved to the UK to pursue her research interests. She subsequently trained in Bath and Truro and it is during this period that she developed her interest in Osteoporosis and was awarded a PhD by the University of London for her work on Osteoporosis in Men at King George's Medical University. Her other interests are Connective Tissue Diseases, Joint injection techniques, and Musculoskeletal Ultrasound. She is also on the Faculty for the Royal College of Physicians taking the Knowledge Overseas initiative. She has close links with the Indian Rheumatology Association.
