Ionut Nistor MD, PhD

Dr, Ionut Nistor is a Consultant nephrologist at the Department of Nephrology Hospital "Dr. CI Parhon" and associate professor at the "Grigore T. Popa" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Iași. He joined the European Renal Best Practices (ERBP) in August 2011, being an ERBP fellow in the Methods team. He studied medicine at the University of Medicine "Gr. T. Popa "Iași, graduating in 2004. He completed a Ph.D. in 2018 at the University of "Ghent", in Belgium, on how clinical practice guidelines can improve the care of people with multimorbidity. His research interests also include cardiovascular complications in CKD patients, dialysis, and transplant patients.
