Iolanda Costa Galinha is a Lecturer and Researcher in Psychology at the Autonomous University Lisbon, since 2006. She has completed Post Doctorate from the University of Virginia and ISCTE-IUL, in 2015 (financed by FCT) and a Doctorate in Psychology from the University of Porto, in 2006 (financed by FCT). She was Editor in Chief of PSIQUE, the scientific journal of Psychology, between 2011-2018.

She is also the Scientific Coordinator of the Research Project Well-Being and Development: researching the predictors of well-being, measurement validity of well-being scales, cross-cultural factors of well-being, and controlled trials of intervention programs on well-being and aging. She is an Elected Member of the Scientific Council of the Autonomous University Lisbon, since 2019. She is a Collaborator Researcher at CIS -ISCTE-IUL since 2007, and at APPsyCI-ISPA since 2018. She is a Member of the Portuguese Health Psychology Association.
