Ingrid Birgitta Carlbom

Dr. Carlbom is a Guest Professor of Computer Graphics at the Centre for Image Analysis, which is part of the Division of Visual Information and Interaction in the Department of Information Technology at Uppsala University. She is the PI for Automatic malignancy grading of prostate cancer and for several projects in Haptics and its applications to medicine. Her other interests include computer graphics, computer vision, and image and signal processing applied to telepresence and virtual environments, acoustical modeling, video compression, scientific visualization, and biomedical imaging.
