Inga Peter MD, PhD

Dr. Peter is Vice-Chair of the Department of Genetics and Genomic Sciences and a Professor of Genetics and Genomic Sciences. She received her Ph.D. in Genetic Epidemiology from Tel Aviv University, Israel, and completed postdoctoral training at Tufts University while working on the Framingham Heart Study. Dr. Peter is the Associate Director of the Ph.D. Program in Clinical Research and Director of the Institutional Early Career Development Program (KL2). She also leads the Mentoring Program in the Department of Genetics and Genomic Sciences and the Icahn Institute for Data Science and Genomic Technology.
