Ines Weinhold PhD

Dr. Ines Weinhold has been Managing Director of the WIG2 Institute since the end of August 2022. Previously, she headed the health economics department in the company for seven years and successfully completed her doctorate in April 2022 on the topic of “Fair access to basic medical care in Germany: Taking access dimensions into account to reduce geographical differences” at the Health Economics Center of the Technical University of Dresden. After studying economics, Dr. Weinhold was a member of the junior research group InnoTech4Health at the Chair of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Technical University until the end of 2014. She wrote various articles and book chapters on healthcare topics and contributed to numerous studies and reports by the WIG2 Institute.
