Indu Lew PharmD

Indu Lew, PharmD., as Senior Vice President and Chief Pharmacy Officer, effective immediately. Responsible for the oversight and management of the system’s Pharmacy Enterprise, Dr. Lew will provide strategic leadership for its 23 pharmacy divisions. In her new role, Dr. Lew will manage the pharmaceutical supply chain, ensure quality outcomes through performance improvement activities, enhance the use of information systems and work to optimize the overall pharmacy and patient care environments. Dr. Robert T. Adamson, PharmD, FASHP, who previously held the position, has been named Senior Vice President and Operational Project Director, of EPIC Implementation. Both positions are effective immediately.

Prior to joining RWJBarnabas Health, Dr. Lew worked with leading pharmaceutical companies and healthcare facilities across the state. In her various roles, she was responsible for coordinating medication management programs, conducting clinical medication use evaluations, and participating in the continued education of the medical and professional staff.

Dr. Lew earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University and her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Florida. She has authored and co-authored over 65 abstracts and manuscripts and delivered more than 450 lectures on pharmacy administration, leadership, oncology supportive care, and internal medicine.
