Imani Gunasekara BS

Imani Gunasekara has been a Consumer Consultant with Metro North Mental Health, Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital for the past eight years. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Science with Honours, a Graduate Diploma in Science Communication and a Diploma of Education.

Imani enjoys working with service users and she is passionate about developing a recovery culture within the workplace. She draws on her lived experience to promote recovery wherever possible. Outside of work she is a sister, a daughter a friend and a good cook. Imani is an enthusiastic beginner at yoga and qualitative research.
