Dr. Andalib is an Assistant Professor in Gastroenterology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, NY. He is currently the director of endoscopic surgery at Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital’s Center for Interventional Endoscopy.

He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He obtained his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies. He completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. He completed his Gastroenterology fellowship at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY and an Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.

Dr. Andalib performs complex diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedure including endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), therapeutic endoscopic ultrasound (T-EUS) as well as other minimally invasive endoscopic procedures such as esophageal and gastric peroral endoscopic myotomy (POEM), endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD).
