Prof. Igor Reshetov is a Corresponding Member RAS, Director, Clinical Research & Education Centre for Plastic Surgery at the Sechenov First Medicine State University, President, All-Russian Federation of the Specialists on Head & .Neck Organs Diseases. The author of the internationally recognized method for gorge and trachea bioengineering reconstruction, unique approaches for face replantation, Laser Technology application for skull and face plastic surgery, etc. The author of more than 55 inventions including USA Patent.

He is Laureate of some prestige Russian and international awards, including Awards by Government RF on Science and Technology, Blokhin Awards on Oncology by Russian Academy of Medicine Sciences. Member of Council on Science & Education under President RF (2012) and Council of Russian Foundation for Basic Research (RFBR) (2011). Chairman of Expert Commission on Surgery at Supreme Attestation Commission RF (2014). President of the World Federation Surgical Oncology Societies (WFSOS)) 2012, Member of European Association Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Surgery (EACMFS) from 2000, Member of European Society of Surgical Oncology (ESSO) from 2002, RF Representative in International Federation of Head & Neck Oncologic Societies (IFHNOS) from 2006, etc. Editor–in-Chief Head and Neck and «Surgery and Technology» (USA) journals, Editorial Board Member Annals of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery» (UK, London) journal, etc.
