Igor Altman DO, MBA, CCDS, FACOFP

Dr. Altman is a board certified and a fellowship-trained Wound Care Physician. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery and Family Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Section of Wound Healing and Tissue Repair. In his role, he trains students, residents, and fellows and treats a wide range of skin-related disorders. He lectures locally and nationally on such topics as pressure injuries, lymphedema, chronic venous insufficiency, diabetes, arterial insufficiency, and others. Through his education, training, review of the medical literature, and the scope of practice, he is well versed in the management of patients as it pertains to the practice of wound care.
