Ignacio J. Juncadella PhD

Ignacio J. Juncadella is a principal scientist in the Department of Immunology and Respiratory Diseases Research at Boehhringer Ingelheim, Inc. His research primarily focuses on the identification and validation of therapeutic concepts related to inflammation and fibrotic pathways in human disease.

Ignacio obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Ignacio joined Boehringer Ingelheim after his postdoctoral training with Dr. Kodi S. Ravichandran at the University of Virginia where he studied mechanisms of tissue tolerance, homeostasis and how defects in cell clearance can lead to tissue inflammation and disease.
