Idania Marrero MD, MS, PhD

Dr. Idania Marrero studied Medicine at the Medical University of Havana, where she also obtained her MS in Immunology. She joined the Immunology Laboratory at the Heart Institute, University of São Paulo (USP), Brazil. She received her PhD in Immunology at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, USP. She joined first as a Postdoctoral and later as a Senior Scientist at the TPIMS in San Diego. Later, she joined as an Assistant Project Scientist at the University of California San Diego.
