Ida Parwati PhD

Ida Parwati is a Clinical Pathologist majoring in microbiology/infectious diseases. She gained a doctoral (S3) degree in 2004 from Universitas Padjadjaran and a Ph.D. degree in 2009 from Radboud University Nijmegen, The Netherlands. Awarded as Professor in Clinical Pathology in 2011. Posted as Head of Department of Clinical Pathology since 2007 until now. Elected as a President of the Indonesian Society of Clinical Pathologists and Laboratory Medicine for 2013 to 2019. In 2012-2016 posted as a chairman of the Antimicrobial Resistance Control Program in Dr. Hasan Sadikin Hospital. Her research focusing on Tuberculosis, Antimicrobial Resistance, Health care also and Dengue, and has published over 20 publications in international peer-reviewed journals. Currently, is co-PI for joint research project SPIN Indonesia-The Netherlands entitled: “Novel strategies and tools for antimicrobial resistance surveillance”.
