Ibama Asiton-a Solomon PhD

Dr.Ibama, Asiton-a Solomon is also a holder of Ph.D degree in Public Health (Epidemiology and Disease Control Specialization) of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Nigeria. He is a Fellow, Institute of Industrial Administration, African Institute of Public Health Professionals, Institute of Management Consultants, Society for Environmental and Public Health, as well as Institute of Information Management. He has been inactive clinical, educative and administrative practices in Community Health and Primary Health care since the year 1990 where he accumulated the practical issues of clinical skills and procedures as well as health programme design and formulation in addressing specific Public Health issues. He is a visiting lecturer on Use of Standing Orders, Research Methodology and Health Economics, Community Health Officers’ Training Programme, University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, Port Harcourt, Nigeria. He is equally an Adjunct Lecturer at, School of Public Health, the University of Port Harcourt on Principles and Practice of Community Health, Immunization, Immunology & Vaccinology, Surgical Procedures among others. He is also an author of five (5) textbooks and many other publications in journals of International repute and in Conferences. He is equally an Editorial Board Member and a peer reviewer of International journals.

He applies principles of Community Health, Epidemiology, and Disease Control in researching, developing, and implementing Public/Community Health Programmes/Interventions, particularly in areas of maternal and under 5 years children.
