Ian J.alexander MD

Ian Alexander, MD, orthopedic surgeon at Ohio State's Wexner Medical Center, specializes in treating foot and ankle injuries, deformities, and disorders. I practice medicine because I enjoy interacting with people and overcoming the medical challenges that each patient presents.

For me, the bottom line is to ensure that every one of my patients is treated as I would want a member of my family treated. I find that by always keeping this in the back of my mind, it's hard to go wrong.

I thoroughly enjoy teaching, and it's one of my favorite parts of working at Ohio State. Interacting with residents and medical students helps keep me sharp and ensures that my patients are always receiving the best possible care.
